Brigham was an at-birth diagnosis for us, and while it came as a complete shock, we were immediately enveloped with thoughts of peace, love, and reassurance. Brig was in the NICU for 5 weeks with oxygen and feeding issues. From there he was able to come home on oxygen, and had to be on thickened milk for what ended up being a year and a half. He's had many other medical procedures: g-tube, tracheomalacia and bronchomalacia remediation, laryngeal cleft, ear tubes and tear duct clogs to name a few. But despite all the time in the hospital, he has thrived in his learning and growth. Brig loves men and will hug just about any man he comes across. He is one of the most distracted little boys you've ever met, and there's always something new to discover with him. We love him to death can't imagine our lives without him.
