We walk to celebrate our dandelion lovin’, Lego creatin’, ball throwin’, hoppin’ and a skippin’ booty shakin’, ear to ear smilin’, tactile aversion, no chewin’, needle bravin’, never a dull moment, keep on surprisin’, video game playin’, relaxin’ and a chillin’, let me keep playin’, goal scorin’, number lovin’, ivory ticklin’ and yes girl flirtin’, extra chromosonin’ young man. We have become grateful for this extra crazy chromosome. It’s been full of surprises and struggles BUT with more joy than we could have ever imagined. Thank you T-21 for teaching us about the true meaning of love, forgiveness, hard work, determination, and self-worth. We also want to thank all the therapists, doctors, teachers, friends, family members, acquaintances, and strangers for their acceptance, knowledge, help and love throughout the years and willingness to give this young man a chance to shine. It takes a village.
