Ian was born at 34 weeks by C-section when doctors found he had an in utero stroke and a large portion of his brain was damaged. Ian has been stumping doctors since birth when he came home from the NICU after a month and was able to eat by mouth. He has fought through therapists who wanted to give up on him and showed them he could walk, talk, learn, laugh and light up our lives. Everyone that knows him adores him and he is happy just sitting and reading books. Books are his favorite things along with jumping on trampolines or bounce houses. He makes our lives a brighter place as well as the world. He has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus and has a shunt, autism, nystagmus, etc. but all you need to know is he has the cutest dimples and loves to be around kids laughing and playing.
